More soup, more soup

Chicken noodle soup, or maybe chicken soupy noodles, which is a shame because the broth was outstanding--thick brown chicken stock redolent of ginger, lemon and cilantro. Still, it was homemade pasta, and how bad can that be?

Speaking of pasta, that pasta is finally over. Oh, wait, here's another soup.

This one is baked potato soup with a garlic toast and a poached egg. Did you know that we are in the middle of a toast craze? Apparently we are.

I've had this entry sitting around for over a week so I decided to finish it. Here you go. I am not going to finish the one about brown butter infused rum, but you can guess how that one goes. Executive summary: bacon is over, brown butter (or is it duck fat?) is the new bacon, it was raining, hot buttered rum.
